This year we are very excited and inspired to welcome 188 men,  women, youth and young adults who will be joining the Catholic Church at Easter in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. They will be celebrating the sacraments of initiation through Baptism (75), Confirmation and First Holy Eucharist (113 already baptized) and have been in the process of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.

These Elect (those to be baptized) and Candidates (already baptized) are coming from 32 churches, Catholic Campus Ministries at 5 colleges, and 2 SCI's (State Correctional Institution Initiation processes) throughout our 7 county diocese.
